Project Management Officer
As a PMO, you play a pivotal role in advancing the maturity of Project, Program, and Portfolio Management. In this position, you contribute significantly to the successful execution of the portfolio by acting as a reliable partner for our Portfolio and Project Managers. Your focus lies on value creation, strategic alignment, and delivering meaningful results. With your talent for collaboration, process optimization, and integrating solutions into complex environments, you truly make a difference.
Your Responsibilities
You support processes and projects in an international, dynamic organization. Together with a team of PMO professionals, you work on structural improvements and directly contribute to both operational and strategic goals. Your daily activities include:
- Coordinating and supporting projects and portfolios to align them with the organization’s strategy.
- Collaborating with project teams and fellow PMO colleagues to achieve optimal results.
- Applying and implementing best methodologies (such as PMM) within programs and projects.
- Structuring projects, including preparing strategic decision-making with “first-time-right” information.
- Demonstrating leadership and guiding change to elevate portfolio management to the next level.
Who You Are
With your background and experience, you know how to achieve results in a complex environment. You excel not only in your expertise but also in communication. You recognize yourself in the following:
- A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant technical/other field with work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in Project and Portfolio Management.
- Familiarity with Project Management Methodologies (e.g., PMM).
- A positive and proactive attitude, organized, and solution-oriented.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence without formal authority.
- Available for 32–40 hours per week.
